Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end who played 17 seasons in the National Football League. Gonzalez is considered to be among the greatest tight ends in history. Alongside being the league's top receiver for yards, and the third place in total receptions, Gonzalez also was one of the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.

Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End now works as a FOX Sports studio analyst. Since the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez is a regular for FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour-long NFL pregame show preceding FOX NFL Sunday, which airs every Sunday at 11:15 AM ET during the NFL season.
On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign with the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million deal despite claiming that Gonzalez would retire after the 2013 season. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the leader of the NFL's active players in receiving yards.
